The conference “Siza & Pallasmaa. Dialogues North-South” will take place in the Auditório 2 of the Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, 29th November, 5:00 pm. The session will count with the participation of the architects Álvaro Siza and Juhani Pallasmaa, two unavoidable figures of the contemporary architecture, with the moderation of professor Ana Tostões. The conference-dialogue will be focused on the architectural exchanges established between North and South, in the second half of 20th century, with a focus on the finish architect Alvar Aalto (1898-1976) legacy.

This is an initiative promoted by Docomomo International and the Embassy of Finland in Lisbon, with the support of the Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, in the framework of the commemorations of the centenary of Finland.

Free admission, subject to room capacity.
