Event | March 6-8, 2018
ExCeL, London, UK
Ecobuild is the world’s biggest trade event for sustainable design, construction and the built environment and the UK’s largest construction event of any kind.
Some of the big issues represented by the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the New Urban Agenda and the Paris Agreement will provide the focus for this year’s conference programme.
How can our government’s commitment to these global targets be implemented in areas of water and energy, natural capital, circular economy, behaviour change, housing, technology, professional ethics, construction quality and leadership? What is our sustainability performance to date?
Debating the issues will be leading figures including Paula Caballero, the driving force behind the Goals; journalists Polly Toynbee and Rowan Moore; campaigner Tony Juniper, Baroness Young of Old Scone and John Elkington with sessions hosted by industry experts.
Surrounding the conference arena will be the ecobuild sustainability showcases, home to the some of the most innovative solutions to the issues facing the built environment. The showcases will put sustainability at the heart of the event.
