The first edition of Mês da Arquitectura da Maia—Month of Architecture of Maia, promoted by Maia Municipality and commissioned by architect Andreia Garcia, starts this 9 March and will be fully dedicated to the architect João Álvaro Rocha.
The programme will include an exhibition and conference about the life and work of the Portuguese architect as well as several visits guided by those who knew him and who collaborated with him.
