Conference | November 22, 2017
São Luiz Theatre, Lisbon, Portugal
In Portugal, only in the 1940s women architects have become recognised as professionals. Even though they make up now 44 per cent of the Portuguese Association of Architects (Ordem dos Arquitectos) members, women architects are still not given equal visibility among their peers and to the eyes of the general public.
This cycle of six talks will focus on who these women are and how they deal with the possibilities and difficulties of the profession.
