"REALIMENTER MASSENA"

Réalimenter Masséna brings together within a unique setting complementary experts in the Food chain. It will become an advanced base for research and innovation allowing consumers to take their nutrition in hand and for producers to valorize their productions. Innovative technological tools will be put in place to accompany the different actors towards an agricultural transition.

Réalimenter Masséna is a reference for all future citizens. Nutrition and Food are placed at the center of the building’s program and social life. It is a vertical “micro‐city” driving exchanges and instating internal virtuous circles in the day to day functioning of the building.

It will be a place dedicated to a food ‘culture’ in the broadest sense. This is a real challenge for Réalimenter Masséna which will allow constructing in one place and among its collaborators an actual sustainable food oriented culture with tools and day to day activities such as a workshop, a market, an interactive canteen, a black box cultural venue and an artistic platform.

This project is plural. It is conceived both architecturally and programmatically through the circular economy. In this building nothing is lost; everything is transformed, shared, adapted and interlinked. Réalimenter Masséna sets out to implement virtuous functioning in a unique location with key players in France’s urban farming development. Crucial subjects will be tackled and resolved.
