"G-POD"
G-pod
G-pod is a readily transportable autonomous living module – architecturally designed and patented, with a focus on environmental sustainability, flexibility of fit out and end use capability. G-pod provides the ultimate solution to living and work accommodation in remote or sensitive environments in addition to urban, sub-urban and rural areas.
These modules are strong and comfortable, require low maintenance and provide quality internal and external spaces for a multitude of applications. G-pod is a GLOBAL product. Due to its ‘containerised’ format, existing logistical transport systems throughout the world are set up to handle the Gpod. Anywhere you can transport and position a shipping container you can site a G-pod – it is that simple!
Humanity’s requirement for GREEN, or environmentally sustainable building solutions, is obvious and urgent. G-pod meets this need through its autonomous building system. Its ’shell’ is an up-cycled shipping container, its interior consists of recycled, sustainable and organic materials and finishes. These attributes, coupled with its super efficient and highly flexible planning, use options and ability to be easily relocated, resulting in a minimal ‘footprint’ – both physically and environmentally.
The modular ‘pods’ of the G-pod system can be added to and adapted over time. A 20ft single bed studio can be coupled with a larger 40ft living pod which in turn can be further extended through pavilion arrangements of pods linked via courtyards and bridges. G –pod’s planning flexibility and extension via pod based GROWTH allows for living and work accommodation to be upscaled, as user needs change.
This ease of adaption means maximum utilization of available accommodation when and where required, resulting in financial savings not previously thought achievable. Cost effectiveness is the mantra by which all commerce and industry will remain economically viable and G-pod will assist achieving that aim. Coupled with the ability for these modules to be fitted out to satisfy customer requirements, the G-pod is truly an innovative approach to the temporary accommodation needs of all industry where quality, comfort and safety are paramount issues.
